GUNTHERS is hiring a Lead HVAC/R Installer to run install crews on residential and commercial jobs. The Lead owns the quality of each installation, from refrigerant lines and ductwork to the final customer walkthrough, and trains the installers working alongside them.

Key responsibilities

Crew leadership

•         Lead an installation crew day to day: assign tasks, set the pace, and hold the team to GUNTHERS quality standards.
•         Teach and train installers on proper technique, tools, and code requirements.
•         Coordinate with managers and other teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Installation

•         Install refrigerant lines on residential and commercial HVAC systems.
•         Design and install sheet metal and flex duct systems for proper airflow and ventilation.
•         Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer technical manuals on every job.

Service

•         Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
•         Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues found during installation or service.

Customer care

•         Deliver a professional, courteous experience from arrival to job completion.
•         Explain the work to customers and answer their questions throughout the installation.

Safety and culture

•         Follow all GUNTHERS Safety Standards and wear proper PPE at all times.
•         Model a positive attitude and support GUNTHERS Core Values and Mission.
•         Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.


Qualifications

Required

•         3+ years of proven experience as an HVAC installer, with specific expertise in refrigeration.
•         EPA certification 
•         RMGA (Rocky Mountain Gas Association) certification.
•         Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
•         Professional demeanor and the ability to teach and train others.
•         Must pass a hands-on HVAC skills test.

Preferred

•         Prior experience leading or mentoring an install crew.
•         Experience on both residential and commercial projects.

•         Must pass a background check and drug test.

Pay

Full-time, hourly, at competitive market rates. Actual pay depends on experience, certifications, skills test results, and overall skill level.
