Plumbing Foreman Pay Range (Hourly):
  • Negotiable. Wage is commensurate with previous experience performing the duties listed below.

Plumbing Foreman Responsibilities and Duties (Essential Job Functions):

  • Become familiar with each assigned project’s plans, equipment, piping and estimate. Review contracts bid and quotes with estimators and provides useful feedback to estimators to help improve processes and accuracy
  • Lead and participate in project planning, scheduling and developing cost estimates. Set up project costs in accounting software
  • Properly staff, manage, and support projects. Ensure that all project team members understand their roles and responsibilities on project
  • Assign subcontracts to required subcontractors
  • Gather and submit submittals, RFIs, and change order requests
  • Compile and submit project closeout documents and O&Ms
  • Order equipment and materials as required
  • Attend all required sub meetings to include hand-off, closeout
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with estimators, field, and customers
  • Monitor project execution. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and routed appropriately including backlog, monthly billing, and others as needed
  • Provide constant support to the job site as required working with projects foreman and support filed crews
Plumbing Foreman Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma, or GED.
  • Must have a Utah Journeyman or Master license
  • Must have at least four years or equivalent experience as a licensed plumbing journeyman
  • Two years of recent previous project management experience in new construction Plumbing
  • Role models GUNTHERs Mission and Core Values with a high degree of integrity
  • Possess exceptional organizational, training and communications skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, and related building codes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, and possess the skill to learn and use additional computer software as needed
  • Follows GUNTHERS’ dress and grooming polices. GUNTHERS is a SMOKE-FREE environment- no smoking or vaping.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
