Controls Technician Pay Range (Hourly):

Controls Technician Job Description:
  • Oversees controls systems and refrigeration systems of multiple projects
  • Visits all current job sites. Assists on jobsites as needed
  • Effectively plans with team to know when & where manpower is needed. Assists partners to specific jobsites.
  • Completes startups, VRF, RTUs, Split systems, Exhaust systems, MUA systems, zone systems, and designs control systems Measures all associates duct work and assists with layout.
  • Coordinates manpower for efficient and cost-effective completion of jobs. Is proactive and handles problems professionally.
  • Enjoys training and teaching mentoring technicians. Develops training classes and meetings as needed
  • Sets up systems to run efficiently. Holds all associates accountable to the system
  • Oversees material requisition forms for all designated projects
  • Orchestrates timing of materials and equipment for projects. Organizes job site materials with associates
  • Good communication with management on projects, staffing and materials
Controls Technical Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma, or GED.
  • Must have a RMGA and EPA license.
  • Must have at least four years’ experience in commercial HVAC
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Role models GUNTHERs Mission and Core Values with a high degree of integrity
  • Possess exceptional organizational, training and communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, and possess the skill to learn and use additional computer software as needed
  • Follows GUNTHERS’ dress and grooming polices. GUNTHERS is a SMOKE-FREE environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
